The SILO KOMPAKT XL delivers exceptional compaction with a total weight of up to 4.7 tonnes. Its water-fillable drum and frame allow precise weight adjustment and ensure even compaction depth. A standard side-shift function enables accurate work along silo walls, supporting efficient operation and high-quality silage.

Accessories

Silage edge compactor

An optional side edge compactor supports safe and even edge formation, especially when working with freestanding silage heaps without walls. It can be mounted on one or both sides, improving compaction quality and stability across the entire silo.

For operation, a dual-acting hydraulic control is required, with an optional electrical control system available if additional connections are needed.

Electrical control system

An optional electrical control system enables convenient and central operation of all hydraulic accessories. It is especially useful for tractors with limited hydraulic connections, allowing functions such as the towing device and side edge compactor to be easily controlled via a toggle switch.

Road lighting system

Optional marker lights improve visibility and safety during transport on public roads. This feature is especially useful for operations involving frequent travel between locations.

Additional weights

The SILO KOMPAKT rollers can be filled with water as standard, with optional magnetite ballast and additional weights available to further increase total mass. These options can be combined to achieve maximum compaction performance. Increased weight improves feed density, reduces air pockets and minimizes losses, resulting in higher silage quality and more usable dry matter.

Hydraulic towing device as an option

An optional hydraulically folding towing device supports operation on higher silos by allowing vehicles to be hooked and pulled onto the silo without leaving the cab. For operation, an additional double-acting hydraulic function is required. Mechanical tow hooks are included as standard on all SILO KOMPAKT models.
