A silage roller designed for maximum feed quality and efficient compaction.

The SILO KOMPAKT rigid models are available in working widths of 2.00, 2.50 and 3.00 m, offering flexibility for farms of different sizes. Their solid frame and adjustable overall weight ensure effective compaction and reliable performance in various operating conditions.

Accessories

Silage edge compactor

An optional side edge compactor helps create firm and stable edges, especially when working with free-standing silo heaps without walls. It can be mounted on one or both sides, depending on the model, improving safety and compaction efficiency. For operation, dual-acting hydraulic controls are required, with an optional electrical control system available if additional connections are needed.

Electrical control system

An optional electrical control system allows convenient and central operation of all hydraulic accessories. It is particularly useful for tractors with limited hydraulic connections, enabling easy control of functions such as the towing device and side edge compactor via a simple toggle switch.

Lighting system

Optional marker lights improve visibility and safety during transport on public roads. This feature is especially useful for operations involving frequent travel between locations.

Additional weights

The SILO KOMPAKT rollers can be filled with water as standard, with optional magnetite ballast and additional weights available to further increase total mass. These options can be combined to achieve higher compaction performance. Increased weight improves feed density, reduces air pockets and helps minimize losses, resulting in better silage quality and more usable dry matter.

Hydraulic towing device as an option

An optional hydraulically folding towing device supports operation on higher silos by allowing vehicles to be hooked and pulled onto the silo without leaving the cab. For operation, an additional double-acting hydraulic function is required. Mechanical tow hooks are included as standard on all SILO KOMPAKT models.
