A high-capacity silage distributor designed for large farms and agricultural contractors.

The Silo Fox GIGANT is a heavy-duty silage distributor built for large feed volumes and demanding silage operations. With its increased drum diameter, wide working area, and a range of equipment options, it is especially well suited to large farms and contractors working with high unloading quantities from high-capacity forage wagons and short logistics chains. All models are available either as rear-mounted units or as front and rear versions with reverse gear.

Accessories

<h3>Hydraulic pivoting device</h3><p>The hydraulic pivoting device improves flexibility during silage distribution, which is especially important on larger machines. Because the pivot point is positioned close to the three-point linkage, the unit can be moved far to the side and quickly swung away from the silo wall. On the Silo Fox GIGANT, the system uses two cylinders, while a locking block helps prevent unintended movement and improves safety during operation and transport.</p>

<h3>Cam clutch</h3><p>The Silo Fox GIGANT is equipped with integrated overload protection as standard. For lower wear in intensive use, especially for contractors and professional applications, the machine can also be fitted with an optional cam clutch.</p>

<h3>Road lighting system</h3><p>An optional road lighting system is available for the Silo Fox GIGANT to improve visibility and safety during transport on public roads. This is particularly useful for inter-company use. When combined with the optional deflector plate set, the magnetic mounting system allows fast fitting and removal, reducing preparation time before and after silo work.</p>

<h3>Deflector plate set</h3><p>The optional deflector plate set improves material flow, especially when working with long-fibre forage. It consists of vertical plates on the frame and a foldable upper plate, helping to improve the spreading pattern, reduce build-up around the headstock, and keep the tractor cleaner during operation.</p>

<h3>Side guide plates</h3><p>The optional side guide plates are mainly used for clamp silage without side walls. They help build up a better side profile and also improve forward distribution by preventing forage from being thrown to the sides. This accessory is available for the Silo Fox GIGANT model.</p>

<h3>Oil Drive</h3><p>For use on wheel loaders or telescopic loaders, the Silo Fox GIGANT can also be operated with an oil motor instead of the classic PTO drive. A hydraulic output of approximately 120 L/min is required. A wide range of additional accessories is also available for individual attachment and adapter solutions.</p>

<h3>Wide-angle PTO shaft</h3><p>Because the pivot point is close to the three-point linkage, a standard PTO shaft is usually sufficient. In certain tractor configurations with high hitch points or steep lifting angles, a single-sided wide-angle PTO shaft may be required. It is available as an accessory for the Silo Fox GIGANT.</p>
