Accessories

Attachments

A wide range of attachment options allows the SILO CAT to be used with tractors, front loaders, wheel loaders and telehandlers. This ensures quick and easy implement changes without time-consuming adjustments.

All attachments are bolted for simple replacement, with no welding required, while the compact and lightweight design makes the N series especially suitable for smaller carrier vehicles.

Corn plate

A fully enclosed rear wall prevents material loss during transport, ensuring clean and efficient handling of finely chopped silage. The rear section opens as standard for easy unloading, while the corn plate keeps the material compact within the cutting area. An optional floor plate is available to cover the tines when needed.

Hinged floor plate

An optional floor plate covers the tines to prevent loss of fine material during transport, improving efficiency and cleanliness. Available for all SILO CAT models, the Type N offers both hydraulic and mechanical hinged versions.

The hydraulic option allows easier operation, especially for carrier vehicles with limited hydraulic functions. The hinged floor plate cannot be combined with the pusher option.

Pusher

An optional hydraulic pusher allows easy and controlled unloading of silage blocks, making it ideal for feeding systems or storage. It is especially useful in low-clearance areas, enabling material to be transferred without tilting the attachment.

For operation, a double-acting hydraulic function is required, with a sequence valve available as an option for machines with limited hydraulic connections.

Control units and valves

For machines equipped with hydraulic accessories such as a lifting frame, floor plate or pusher, additional control valves are recommended to ensure smooth operation. This is especially useful for carrier vehicles with limited hydraulic connections.

Multi-hose coupler

Optional HYDROFIX multi-hose couplers enable quick and effortless connection and disconnection of the attachment without oil loss. A wide range of options is available to match different machine setups.
